The keypad is beeping and it says battery low. How do i replace the battery?

Most (especially older systems) have a central control panel, a metal box about 1ft by 1 ft , often with a key to unlock it. Inside you should find a black battery about the size of a brick. You need to match the voltage and be close on the amp hours and of course size. Brinks will most likely charge you a large mark up, but you should be able to do it yourself. Some newer systems may not have the control box and they may use a smaller rechargeable battery ( a little bigger than those common to cordless phones).
